MEGADETH Bassist Launches 'Ellefson Concert Series' Rock And Roll Accessories Line

April 4, 2012

MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson has partnered with Arizona-based jewelry manufacturer Diabolik 85258 as they launch an original line of "Ellefson Concert Series" rock and roll accessories.

States Ellefson, "I'm excited to offer this line with Diabolik 85258 as they have a classic rock and roll look but with my signature Fallout Shelter logo to define it as part of thrash metal's history, too. These pieces were designed to help rockers of all genres embellish their wardrobe with some great rock and roll flare."

Ellefson's enthusiasm for music has always been the driving force of his creative edge. As a result, he says that a portion of the proceeds from these pieces will be donated to the MusiCares Musician Assistance Program to help those musicians in need of health care, financial and medical needs.

The "Ellefson Concert Series" line will debut Wednesday, April 11 at the Revolver Revolver Golden Gods awards at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California. After the show, all Diabolik 85258, including the "Ellelfson Concert Series" pieces, will be available for further viewing at www.diabolik85258.com.

Diabolik 85258, established in 2009, manufactures jewelry using bronze, silver and eco-friendly, lead-free fine pewter all purchased from distributors in the United States and completes the process entirely in Arizona. The Diabolik 85258 line consists of jewelry pieces that appeal to the rock star, goth and biker genre. Their pieces include intricate designs utilizing computer-aided design technology to maximize precision and detail. The "Ellefson Concert Series" makes good use of this technology by including Ellefson's "written" signature along with the "Fallout Shelter" symbol Ellefson uses as his personal logo. Chief designer for Diabolik 85258, Ira Leibowitz, said, "We are proud to have David on board. The 'Ellefson Concert' line of jewelry we have designed is a tip of the hat to David and his contribution to the heavy-metal world. We look forward to expanding the 'Ellefson Concert Series' line to include many other pieces."
